One of the the main traits of a fool is their inability to act thoughtfully. We are consistently instructed and encouraged in the scriptures to be thoughtful in all our ways. To give careful thought to everything we think, do and say.•

The wise acts with knowledge and understanding. They make good judgment. They discern. They have eagle eyes that allows them to see further than what their physical eyes can see. Most importantly, they lean on the Lord and not their own understanding. The wise draw their wisdom from the well of Christ. In the Bible, James tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God and He will give it to us.•

Let us stick to the Lord and learn to lean on His understanding everyday of our lives so we can live as those who are wise.•

We may think we don’t have much to offer to othe

We may think we don’t have much to offer to others just like Jesus’ disciples who answered, “we have here only five loaves and two fish”. But when they brought what little they had before Jesus and He blessed it, it multiplied to feed thousands of people. Just like so, what we have may seem small and insignificant in our eyes in comparison to how or who we need to serve. However, when we bring whatever we have before God, even when we can’t see how, He knows what He can do with it.•

What He has blessed has no limits or boundaries. But for God to do what He wants to do through us to touch others, we must take up our cross, die to ourselves and follow Christ and His example. Our hearts must be tuned to His and our attitudes must match His. What’s expected of us is to be willing and available and continually strive to grow closer to God in love, intimacy, knowledge and obedience. As we do, the Holy Spirit will continually transform us into the image of Christ so we look more and more like Him every day.•

Light requires darkness to shine. The purpose of light is to expose what's in the dark so it becomes visible. The world grows darker by the day and we can remain assured it will only get worse from here on. This is our greatest opportunity to shine as the light of Christ in the darkness. We must shine His love, grace, kindness and glory as only that will save those lost in the dark.•

Only Jesus can save the world. Jesus is the only solution. We must stop hiding away our light and blending in with the world in our mindset, opinions, reactions and attitude towards everything that's unfolding day by day. We must be set-apart in ALL OUR WAYS. We must stand up and stand out as light does in the dark.•

When we don’t guard our hearts, we are without protection and make ourselves vulnerable to the enemy. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). This means our vulnerability causes attacks, hurts, and damages to our lives causing us to take the reactive measure of building a wall in and around our hearts.•

When a guard protects, a wall defends. It is not the will of God for our lives to be lived with a defensive heart, but rather with a guarded heart. It is the will and desire of the enemy that we build a wall in and around our hearts keeping us from sharing life and love with those whom we have been called to do so with.•
