Beloved, are you waiting for the hour of your death to arrive to find rest for your soul? Or are you tired of looking for rest for your weary soul in everything and coming up short? Let me tell you, true rest in not found in death or in anything that is on earth. It’s not found in people, money, relationships, friendships, jobs or education.

WHERE IS OUR CROWN?

In the blog titled ‘Re-born Identity’, we established Christ being the Crown that entitles us as Kings and Queens on earth. In this blog, we aim to investigate the place of our Crown (Christ) in our lives. A lot of us live in the hype of our identity in Christ rather than in the fullness thereof. This is likely the result of a lack of understanding of what it means to be a King and a Queen in Christ.

They say “the only time you should ever look back is to see how far you have come.” I say, we should take a look back at where God brought us from not to reflect on the distance we have traveled rather the DESTINY change we have received in Christ Jesus. This shall be a reflection that will restore the power of our ministry of reconciliation and one that will encourage us to develop a life structured by an unwavering gratitude for the priceless blood that was shed on our behalf.

Overcoming the Struggle to Change.

Quiet often I come across plenty of people who would love to be on fire for God. They ‘believe’ they have the desire to change and they absolutely love God but they struggle to achieve the change. I once was like one of these people, I was thirsty for change. However, for over a year, I failed to realize the chains that kept me imprisoned in my old-self despite my desire to be made and stay new.

I once used to be the girl who dreamt of attracting Boaz without being Ruth. Boaz was the God fearing husband of Ruth. Their story is found in the book of Ruth. For many years I struggled to solve my puzzle of attracting flies instead of real warriors of the Lord. Little did I know WASTE only attracts flies.
